The MV Queenscliff will be temporarily replaced by the MV Peninsula Princess from FEBRUARY 13-24. The Peninsula Princess has limited capacity and facilities. Passengers are advised to catch the MV Sorrento for full facilities, it departs Sorrento on the ODD hours and Queenscliff on the EVEN Hours.
Those customers with large vehicles or caravans are advised to catch the MV Sorrento.
The will still be an HOURLY SERVICE during this time.
The all weather ferries depart Queenscliff Harbour and Sorrento Pier. Every hour on the hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Crossing time 40 minutes
- Easy drive on/drive off – no turning and backing required
- Bookings are not required (coaches excepted)
- Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to ferry departure to purchase tickets.
During our busy period, 26 December through to 31 January and Easter Weekend, we recommend arriving 30-40 minutes prior departure to avoid disappointment.
Lift service is available only on the MV Sorrento.
Please call 03 5258 3244 to ascertain sailing times. Car drivers and passengers should advise at ticketing of any special needs so we can ensure placement of car is on the lift deck. Lift can accommodate prams and wheelchairs.
