Sorrento is a beautiful beachside village with a lively main street lined with historic limestone buildings. From gourmet deli's, restaurants and cafes to art galleries, fashion boutiques, and interior design stores, the main street, a short stroll from the ferry, offers something for everyone. Tucked in behind the main road is a gorgeous park with a wooden playground, perfect for young families.
Sorrento pier is a quiet place to fish and the beach is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the views. Millionaires Walk is only 10 minutes away - a clifftop path meandering in front of the mansions offering breathtaking views.
For those more energetic a 30 minute walk to the Sorrento back beach offers large waves and great views of the coastline and National Park.

Excellent!! Ferry very clean including restrooms. Cafe on board with adequate choices. Very, very enjoyable sitting on deck cruising across the bay. Queenscliff Terminal a pleasant place to wait to board. Must see the video showing in the little side room - it's awesome.
