Cruise the bay to a lunch that feels like a proper day out. Sail across Port Phillip Bay from Queenscliff to Sorrento, step straight into the new Sorrento Ferry Terminal, and settle in at ONDA, our mediterranean inspired restaurant with a seaside vibe right on the historic Sorrento pier.

Your Sail to Lunch package includes a two course lunch (main and dessert) with a house beer or wine. Go classic with a pizza, or choose something from the mains that suits your mood, then finish with something sweet. After lunch, wander the foreshore, stretch your legs through town, then cruise back across the bay with the sea breeze doing its thing.

If you are a group that is booking separately but wish to sit together, please advise of your request in the notes section at time of booking. Please note that table joins will be subject to availability, however we will do what we can to accommodate your request.

 

*Ferry travel is one, open return foot passenger ticket valid only on the day of dining.  2 courses (Main & Dessert) & a glass of wine or beer at Onda Sorrento. Subject to availability.  Ferry ticket is not refundable or transferable. Not available Long weekends, public holidays, special event days ie mothers/fathers day.

Location

Sail to Lunch is a package that includes dining @ Onda Sorrento, plus return foot passenger travel aboard Searoad Ferries, between Sorrento & Queenscliff.

Duration

We suggest that you allow 1.5 - 2 hours for your lunch sitting.

Sailing on the ferry is approximately 40 minutes each way, plus boarding and disembarkation times.

Bookings are essential

We require all Sail to Lunch bookings to be purchased online at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled sailing. Subject to availability.
Bookings will open soon as ONDA is not yet open.

Menu

Main and dessert selections are made from the current seasonal menu using a range of local regional produce.

Dietary requirements

Please notify our team at least 72 hours prior to sailing of all dietary requirements and we will endeavour to cater to your needs. Some dietary requirements may incur additional charges.

Group Bookings

Are you part of a group? Please add the group name to your booking via the comments field. Bookings are a maximum of 6 guests per booking. Group bookings above 6 guests are not available for this package.

Terms and conditions

Ferry travel is one open return foot passenger ticket valid only on the day of dining. Unused ferry tickets are not refundable or transferable.

Not available long weekends, public holidays, or special event days (for example Mother’s Day and Father’s Day).

Change of date: outside 24 hours, changes can be made to another date, subject to availability, and must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase.

Cancellation and refunds: 100% refund with at least 7 days notice. Inside 7 days, 100% cancellation fee and non refundable.

Searoad Ferries reserves the right to cancel and will offer an alternative date or 100% refund.

Simple and enjoyable process
Really enjoyed taking the ferry. Not very busy, easy to get on and off with car and nice ship. Comfortable lounge and even had a sandwich. Really like the driving it saved us. Put us in great shape for starting the Great Ocean Road.

Why would you bother driving through all that city traffic when you can just hop aboard the ferry to get from one side of the bay to the other?
Excellent way to cross the bay
We took the car over the bay. What an easy trip. No need to book. Boat is in excellent condition and crew were great. High recommended.
