Taking place over the last two weekends of October, this seaside festival honours Australian writers, books, and ideas, featuring appearances by some of the nation's most renowned authors and thinkers.

Celebrating its 10th year in 2024, this year’s festival will host Australian literary greats Tim Winton, Pip Williams, Alexis Wright, and Candice Fox, amongst others.

The Queenscliffe Literary Festival brings the best of established and emerging Australian literary talent to the Borough of Queenscliffe and the greater Bellarine community. The purpose is to curate a lively and intelligent season of events that stimulates discussion and to provide opportunities for engagement and participation. The program aims to be inclusive, accessible, thought-provoking and diverse.

TARRA Queenscliff is excited to be hosting a Festival event - Ben Shewry’s Uses for Obsession.  Hosted by Myf Warhurst, Ben will discuss his new book.  Served with canapes created by TARRA the bar will be open with drinks at bar prices.  Following Ben Shewry's event TARRA Queenslciff is hosting a Dinner Series - Coastal Harvest.  Foodies can enjoy both events for a very special evening.

Founded in 2015, the festival is organized by a voluntary committee of management as a not-for-profit incorporated association. We are committed to fairly compensating all participants, adhering to the recommended rates set by the Australian Society of Authors.
