Searoad Ferries has launched a new gourmet experience – Captains Lunch on the Bay.

The monthly epicurean events are scheduled to run on the first Saturday of each month departing from both Queenscliff and Sorrento.

They feature a producer handpicked from either Mornington or Bellarine Peninsula to be showcased during a relaxing three course lunch on a two hour return sail aboard a magnificent Searoad Ferries vessel.

Food and wine lovers alike will enjoy a shared table of platters offering tastes of the regions which surround the bay. The first two courses are served as a grazing table of regional produce starting with an antipasto platter followed by slow cooked meats, seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings, finishing off with a selection of petit fours.

Sit back and enjoy the views as the vessel sails pass clifftop mansions, historic fortifications and spectacular coastline of Port Phillip Bay. This event is ideal for couples, groups of friends or a community group get together.
