This is no dog day afternoon!

It’s pretty simple.  Hanging out with our dogs makes us feel good.  They are part of the family and we include them in most things, especially getting out and about.

The Mornington Peninsula is a very dog-friendly place.  Many businesses have embraced the connections we have with our pets offering water bowls, tie-up stations, and doggie treats whilst some cafes even offer puppaccino’s.

Four-legged fur babies are very welcome on the ferry.  Once in Sorrento there are lots of things to do and places to visit.  Meander the main street of Sorrento where there are plenty of cafes. It’s a doggy social outing, stopping every few metres for furry friends to say hello. Try Millionaire’s Cliff Top walk or one of the leash-free beaches.  Further afield in the foothills of the Mornington Peninsula foodies can visit Main Ridge Estate and Green Olive at Red Hill with pooch in tow.

A daycation can be pawfect when our best friend comes too.

2. Sorrento Main Street

3. Tassels Cove leash free beach

Located at Safety Beach, Tassels Cove is a sheltered leash free beach with beautiful white sound and plenty of space.

4. Green Olive at Red Hill

Aside from the food and setting being award winning, the friendly vibe of being able to have your daycation buddy join you for lunch, makes it even more special.

5. Tar Barrel

The original home of Mornington Peninsula Brewery, Tar Barrell is a well know beer garden that has many regular doggy regulars.
