The railway operates year-round heritage train experiences between Queenscliff and Lakers Siding, travelling along the picturesque Swan Bay. Visitors can enjoy regular heritage train rides on the Swan Bay Express, as well as a variety of special events throughout the year.
Popular family events include Day Out With Thomas™ in April and October, Easter weekend specials, Steamlight Nights winter specials and THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride in December.
The railway is operated and maintained by the dedicated volunteers of the Geelong Steam Preservation Society, a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1970.
