Hire Details
Pick up your bike from a Bayplay staff member located at the Sorrento Ferry Terminal, they will give you a briefing, map, bike, helmet and bike lock before you depart, this will allow you to enjoying the scenery at your own pace. Once you arrive at the Queenscliff Ferry Terminal and begin your journey to the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse following the bike path that begins at Bellarine Railway, you can access this path by going past the Queenscliff Observatory Tower and following the boardwalk besides the harbour. Cross over at Murray Road lights and continue the rest of the route following the path next to Lonsdale Bay! On you way back be sure to check out the Point Lonsdale Jetty and Queenscliff South Pier for some great photo opportunities!
Duration:
The round trip ride from Queenscliff Ferry Terminal to the Point Lonsdale lighthouse hours is 22km. Your hire is for 4 and 1/2 hours, which is plenty of time to explore, check out the views, grab some lunch or early dinner before needing to get back for your scheduled ferry to Sorrento.
Hire Times:
We have a strict pick up and drop off time. Please ensure you have allocated enough time to make your scheduled ferry. In the circumstance of a late arrival or no show, the booking will not be rescheduled or refunded. Please see our terms and conditions on our Bayplay website.

Arrive at Sorrento Ferry Terminal by 12:30pm
Pick up: 12:30pm
Ferry Depart from Sorrento: 1:00pm
Arrive at the Queenscliff Ferry Terminal by 4:45pm
Ferry Depart from Queenscliff : 5:00pm
Drop off: 6:00pm

What to Bring & Wear:
Your ID and ferry ticket
We recommend bring a backpack for personal items – cameras, mobile phones, wallets, sunscreen, water, snacks etc.
A hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothes for riding and enclosed shoes are recommended.
Participants Conditions: This a self-guided experience, there is no guide with you. It is recommended that participants are confident riding a bike before booking, If you are not confident, we suggest booking a tour with a guide to come with you.
